No Bears tells two parallel love stories. In both stories, pairs of lovers are plagued by hidden but unavoidable obstacles, the power of superstition and the mechanisms of power.

Despite years of house arrest, a professional ban and now a prison sentence, Jafar Panahi manages to astonish the world with his brilliant cinematography.
